Chassis 106 was delivered new in May 1967 in Varese, Italy, before spending its first 16 years in Northern Italy and Rome. The car was later purchased by a Spanish marque enthusiast who brought it to Barcelona and commissioned a refurbishment that was performed between 2019 and 2023 with modifications that included the addition of a supercharged 1.5-liter Ford inline-four and widening of the fenders. It was then imported to the US in 2024 before being purchased by the selling dealer in 2025. Finished in red, the car also features a single Weber carburetor, dry-sump lubrication, a Volkswagen-sourced four-speed manual transaxle, four-wheel disc brakes, coilover independent suspension, 13” Cromodora wheels, and tan leather interior upholstery. This Vallelunga is now offered in North Salem, New York, with a copy of its previous Italian registration booklet, invoices from work performed in 2024 and 2025, a numbered copy of Janosch Jurowski’s book Vallelunga History, and Connecticut registration.	—	—	—	—

Designed by Ghia, the Vallelunga features a Ford Kent Inline 4 Cylinder, which, in the factory competition cars, was enlarged to 1600cc and develops 135HP. The specification also includes a Hewland 4-Speed Transmission mounted in a VW case that was turned around for mid engine placement. This is part of this car's unique specification as one of 5 factory built competition race cars. The Front suspension features and unequal length upper and lower A arm, coil springs, tube shocks and anti-roll bar. The rear has independent suspension, single upper arm, reversed lower A-arm, coil springs, tube shocks and anti-roll bar. The front brakes are 9.9 inch disc and the rear brakes are 9.6 inch. A total of 58 cars were produced, which includes 3 alloy bodied pre-production cars, 50 fiberglass bodied cars and 5 competition cars of which this car is one. This car was used for hill climbing events in Spain before being shipped to the US. In addition to having been enlarged, the engine of this car has Cosworth heads, and dual Weber 40DCOE2 carburetors. Other alterations include flared fenders and wider wheels. Total weight is just 1250lbs. After undergoing a color change and passing through three Swiss owners, chassis 101 was purchased by marque specialist Marcel Schaub, who commissioned a two-year refurbishment before driving the car to the De Tomaso factory in Modena in 1996. The car was purchased by its current owner in 2004 after sustaining damage from a carburetor fire, which was repaired during a 2024 refresh that included the installation of replacement dual Weber carburetors and a re-trim of the interior in black. Featuring fiberglass bodywork finished in red over a pressed-steel backbone chassis, the car is powered by a mid-mounted 1.5-liter Ford OHV inline-four that is mated to a four-speed manual transaxle. Additional equipment includes four-wheel disc brakes, coilover independent suspension, staggered-width 13” Campagnolo cast-magnesium wheels, and an aluminum fuel tank. This Vallelunga is now offered by the seller, a BaT Local Partner, in the Netherlands on behalf of the owner with its previous Swiss registration booklet and German importation paperwork.	100 pt restoration in 96, 23,000 km, third owner, not registered since 1971, 680 kg.
