Modifications: This 1971 DeTomaso Pantera is chassis number 1089 and is one of 382 early-production examples that featured push-button doors and were hand-assembled by Vignale in Torino, Italy. The car was acquired in 2007 by its current owner, who subsequently commissioned a rebuild of its 351ci Ford Cleveland V8 and five-speed ZF manual transaxle according to the seller. Additional work spanning the four years ending in 2016 included a repaint in black and reupholstery of the interior as well as servicing the suspension, steering, braking, and air conditioning, systems. Features include single-slot 15″ magnesium Campagnolo wheels, Wilwood disc brakes, an updated air conditioning compressor, Jet-Hot coated exhaust headers, an aluminum radiator with electric fans, a leather-trimmed Lecarra steering wheel, and a radio delete panel.
