Modifications: This 1971 DeTomaso Pantera was purchased by the seller’s sister in Florida in January 1977 and gifted to the seller, with whom the car has resided in the Toronto-area since August 1977. It was stored from 1985 until 2019 when it was reconditioned for road use. The car is finished in red with black lower body accents, and power is provided by a Ford 351ci Cleveland V8 paired with a ZF five-speed manual transaxle. Reconditioning in 2019 is said to have included removing, inspecting, cleaning, and resealing the engine, rebuilding the gearbox and carburetor, cleaning and sealing the fuel tank, overhauling the braking system, servicing the air-conditioning system, replacing the oil and water pumps, installing an aluminum radiator, commissioning a safety inspection, and more as detailed below. Equipment includes a Hall Pantera big-bore exhaust system, a Panasonic AM/FM/cassette stereo, and refinished 15″ Campagnolo wheels. This Pantera is now offered in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, with a Pantera Technical Information book, records since 1977, a flash drive of photos, a bill of sale from 1977, removed parts, and transferable Ontario registration.
