- This 1971 DeTomaso Pantera was delivered new to San Francisco Lincoln-Mercury and was acquired in 1986 by its current owner, who used it at several track events with a Northern California Pantera club. The car was partially disassembled in the mid-1990s in order to rebuild its 351ci Cleveland V8 and ZF five-speed transmission, and was subsequently left in an incomplete state. Finished in red and black over a black interior, it is equipped with replacement stock seats as well as 15″ Campagnolo wheels and a vented hood. This Pre-L Pantera project is offered by the seller on behalf of its current owner with its removed engine, transmission, axles, exhaust system, and various other parts as well as a Deluxe Marti Report and a California title in the owner’s name.
