Modifications: This DeTomaso Pantera was built in February 1974 and delivered to Benson-Hartman Motors of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The first owner reportedly kept the car until the late 1970s, when it was sold to his next door neighbor, the second owner. It was subsequently acquired in 2017 by the current owner in Texas, who has added just a few hundred of the 17,395 indicated miles. Power comes from a carbureted 351ci Cleveland V8, which is mated to a ZF 5-speed manual transaxle while maintenance conducted by the second owner in 2016 included rebuilding the carburetor, as well as replacing the coolant tanks, a heater hose, a new clutch slave cylinder, headlight motor, and a full tune-up. Upgrades include a Wilwood brake kit, along with Hall headers and mufflers. A repaint in the factory yellow was carried out last year, and a May 2018 service included new gaskets for the engine along with a mechanical inspection. This Pantera is now being offered on dealer consignment in Conroe, Texas with a Marti report, the original owner’s manual, and a clean Montana title.
