Past owners: Just my father. I have the hand written bill of sale and the origional window sticker as well as 4 folders of everything from his 49 years of ownership. William Clay Ford tried to buy it from him (father worked for ford) and Brock Yates invited my father to run in the cannonball in it.

History notes: Too much to type. It’s the car that got me into cars and my first memory in life. I now have a pretty unique collection myself and the GTS was added late this year. If the garage was on fire, it’s the first one being pulled out as its priceless. Father borrowed money from my Grandma (gone) and paid her back over years. He was a Ford employee and got the A plan on it, purchashing a GTS for under $10k. As mentioned Yates on his stationary sent my dad a note inviting him to run cannonball and my dad turned down William Clay Ford when he approached him to buy the GTS at World HQ.
Modifications: Light freshioning of the engine in 2017 following a full paint job.
