Modifications: This 1973 DeTomaso Pantera was purchased new by its current owner from Murphy Lincoln-Mercury of Long Beach, California and is said to have been driven regularly until 2005, when it was put into storage for the next 10 years. Power is supplied by a 351ci Cleveland V8 which has been modified with Edelbrock Performer cylinder heads, a Comp camshaft and Magnum rocker arms, an AVS carburetor, and electronic ignition and is paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. A 2015 service included removal of the engine to install the aforementioned equipment along with a new timing chain, engine seals, clutch, aluminum radiator, and ignition components. The front brake calipers were also replaced, the fuel tank refurbished, and other items addressed. This Pantera shows 30k miles and is offered by the seller on behalf of its original owner with a window sticker, purchase documentation, manufacturer’s literature, service records, spare parts, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.
