Modifications: This 1973 De Tomaso Pantera L was previously owned and modified by Southern California Pantera specialist Hall Pantera in 2003. The car was fitted with a fresh 392ci Ford V8 running aluminum heads and other upgrades for a reported 430 HP. Other modifications included four wheel Wilwood disc brakes, strengthened motor mounts and more detailed below. Upon purchasing the car the seller addressed a number of items needing repair to make it a strong driver, including a full cooling system overhaul and small faults like a leaky left rear axle bearing. Described as a clean, fast, reliable and fun driver, the car is ready to drive with no immediate needs and the sale includes an extensive file of repair and maintenance receipts. The car was repainted around the time of the previous owner’s purchase from Hall, finish retains a nice shine despite a handful of small chips and cracks. The large stock bumpers have been removed with small fiberglass bumpers fitted as seen here. Sheet metal is straight, trim complete and glass in good shape with no cracks or delamination. Aftermarket wheels are wrapped in 17″ Michelin Pilot Sport tires measuring 235/40 in front and 335/35 in back. Red is believed to be the original color.
