- This 1973 DeTomaso Pantera is a non-running project that was delivered when new to O’Connor Lincoln-Mercury of Los Angeles, California, and is said to have been subsequently sold to WWII fighter ace, test pilot, and race car driver Ray Crawford. The car is finished in white over black upholstery and is equipped with a partially-disassembled 351ci Cleveland V8 engine and a ZF five-speed manual transaxle. Features include Campagnolo wheels, bucket seats, and Veglia instrumentation. The car was acquired by the current owner in 2019 after a multi-decade period of storage. Additional items accompanying the sale include existing pieces, hardware, and numerous removed powertrain and trim components. This Pantera project is currently registered in California as Planned Non-Operation (PNO), and is now offered at no reserve by the seller on behalf of its current owner with a Deluxe Marti report, a historical registration card, yellow-on-blue California license plates, assorted parts, and a clean California title.
