- History notes
- Pantera GT5, full custom and an incredible car. I have owned it almost 40 years and have done 95% of my own work including paint and polishing. It is powered by a 351C / 408 stroker putting out 586HP and over 500 Ft. Lb. of torque. Transaxle is rebuilt with an overdrive 5th gear and fully polished and ceramic coated as well as the entire car. If seriously interested I can e mail you all of the details and pictures. Absolutely one of the the finest Pantera's in the world!
- Modifications
- This 1973 DeTomaso Pantera was modified with GT5-style bodywork and refinished in Wineberry Pearl under prior ownership, which reportedly spanned over 40 years. The car is powered by a 408ci Cleveland V8 paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. Additional equipment includes 17″ Halibrand-style wheels, Wilwood brakes, adjustable coilovers, a C&S Specialties carburetor, an MSD ignition system, a Ron Davis Racing radiator, a custom exhaust system, and Corvette-sourced seats trimmed in cream leather and black fabric along with air conditioning, a Lecarra steering wheel, and a Kenwood head unit linked to revised stereo components. Recently acquired by the current owner, this Pantera is offered at no reserve on dealer consignment in California with recent service records and a Montana title in the name of an LLC.. minimal pictures, very modified to GT5 built engine, looks like a good job.
