History notes: This 1972 DeTomaso Pantera was refurbished and modified in the late 1990s with work involving adding hood ducts, shaving the side marker lights, and refinishing the body in blue. A replacement big-block V8 that has been stroked to displace 540ci was installed at that time and is paired with a five-speed ZF manual transaxle. Inside, a roll cage, manually-adjustable Sparco bucket seats, and an Alpine CD stereo have been installed. The chassis has been reinforced, and the overhauled suspension features billet aluminum control arms along with adjustable coilovers at each corner. Additional equipment includes 18″ Kinesis wheels, Wilwood disc brakes, twin Holley four-barrel carburetors, and a dual exhaust system with coated headers. The car remained under the same ownership in California for approximately 20 years prior to the selling dealer’s acquisition in 2019, after which it was exported to France. This Pantera is now offered in Strasbourg, France, with a previous California title and French import documents.
