- This 1972 DeTomaso Pantera was sold new in California where it was acquired by the seller in 1992 and relocated to Texas the following year. It is powered by a 351ci Ford V8 mated to a ZF 5-speed manual transaxle and was recently serviced in preparation for the sale. A color change from the original Medium Green was performed prior to the seller’s ownership, and further alterations include a Holley carburetor and manifold, Mallory distributor, performance headers, and more detailed below. Additional work performed during the seller’s ownership has included a new A/C compressor and receiver/drier, a new radiator with rebuilt fans, and refinished Campagnolo wheels. Approximately 3,000 of the 43k indicated miles have been added by the seller, who is now offering this Pantera with records beginning in 1990 and a clean Texas title.
