Identity

Modifications: The Pantera’s bodywork was designed under the direction of American designer Tom Tjaarda. Finished from the factory in white, this example was repainted gray in the late 1970s and fitted with fiberglass Group 5-style bodywork that incorporates fender flares, a front splitter, side sill extensions, rear fender vents, and a rear wing. The rear bumper has been removed, and a black impact bumper is fitted up front. Cracks on the front bumper and other blemishes are shown up close in the gallery. The Team 3 Halibrand-style wheels measure 17″ in diameter up front and 18″ out back, and they are mounted with 275/40 Nitto 555GP and 335/30 Michelin Pilot Sport tires, respectively. The wheels and tires were installed under current ownership along with Wilwood front disc brakes, a replacement master cylinder and brake lines, and Aldan front coilovers. Rear Aldan coilovers and Wilwood disc brakes accompany the vehicle.
