- Modifications
- This 1973 DeTomaso Pantera L is said to have been first owned by a Ford executive for one year before remaining with its next owner in California for over three decades. Chassis 04532 was stripped and repaired by Kirk Evans of AmeriSport Industries as part of a multi-year project initiated in 2005 that later stalled. It was acquired by the seller as a shell in 2018 and subsequently underwent a multi-year build completed in 2024. The car is finished in metallic blue and powered by a 5.0-liter Coyote V8 equipped with a Haltech engine management system and a custom stainless-steel exhaust setup. It rides on Ridetech adjustable coilovers paired with Forgestar wheels fitted over Wilwood six-piston calipers and two-piece rotors all around. Inside, black cloth-trimmed Recaro bucket seats are accompanied by a MOMO steering wheel, a Kenwood head unit, a security system, and retrofitted air conditioning along with a custom dash and center console. Shifting is through a ZF five-speed manual transaxle, and further equipment includes quad headlamps, fiberglass Euro-style bumpers, and an Infinitybox wiring system. This modified Pantera is now offered with spare parts and a clean Utah title in the seller’s name. Nearly all interior components custom. Coyote conversion. Custom chassis bracing.
