History notes: Found car in local newspaper listing, Fall 2001. Previous owner claimed no knowledge of car's history and offered no documentation. Ran into an alleged past owner from the 1980s at a car show in 2003 who claimed the car left Ford in 1974 under ownership of an "executive involved in the Pantera program." This story remains unsubstantiated. Original 351C engine said to be blown in late 1970s; "new" 351C engine (#6052) installed in the late 1990s during a cosmetic refurbishment. Car was re-sprayed in white paint at that time. Additional historical details unknown. Presently (2022) car is stripped to bare metal and undergoing a ground-up body restoration. Future color to be orange, but probably not the original hue.
Modifications: 17" Group 4 style wheels, PPC Wilwood brake upgrade kit, Koni shocks, larger swaybars, aftermarket headers and exhaust, '71 Boss 4V heads, Edelbrock Performer manifold, Keith Black pistons, CompCams hydraulic roller cam w/roller rockers, MSD billet distributor, aftermarket PPC radiator w/twin fans.
