- Assumed Original? Owner had a machine shop in Houston & disassembled car w/ 38k miles in storage for 20-years. Dennis Jones (decesed 2019) bought car for 10K in April 2000. He repainted car rebuilt engine and did upgrades. I purchased in Feb 2003 wih 47K miles.

- Attended POCA meeting in Houston for 6-months to learn about Pantras. Dennis Jones said he was getting a divorce and wanted to sell his car for 30K. I bought it.

- Engine modifications Bored .030 over with new pistons & polished crankshaft Aggressive roller camshaft w/ new valve train and valve job External oil supply line added to engine rear bearings Edelbrock intake manifold and Edelbrock carburetor New electronic distributor New starter, starter solenoid and alternator New clutch with rebuilt clutch hydraulic system for use with silicone brake fluid Edelbrock high capacity water pump Stainless steel water pipes New Hall Pantera brass high capacity OEM style radiator New OEM radiator fans and OEM fan relays Body Repainted in original yellow (close to original color but less green) Engine bay smoothed and painted Hall Pantera extended gas filler neck Installed new rotary A/C compressor Urethane suspension bushings installed front and rear New rear suspension lower pivot rod and bushings Installed Pantera Performance under-chassis front and rear frame strengthening braces Hall Pantera adjustable rear frame brace Rebuilt entire brake system for use with silicone brake fluid New Porterfield brake pads Refinish the original magnesium 15" Campagnolo wheels with European sized Michelin XWX tires. Scheel seats installed Momo steering wheel installed 3" wide shoulder harness and harness bar. New window motors with brass gears Relay system installed to take electrical load off the ignition and the headlight switches to prevent dashboard electrical fires! All lights changed to LED (except for the H-4 headlights & generator idiot light
