- This 1972 DeTomaso Pantera was ordered new through Clay Dutton Lincoln-Mercury in New Orleans, Louisiana, and is said to have remained in storage from the early 1980s until the seller’s acquisition in 2023. Subsequent work involved installing a rebuilt steering rack, RideTech adjustable coilovers, and Wilwood disc brakes along with a Fluidyne aluminum radiator, a Holley Hi-Tek air cleaner, and an Edelbrock carburetor and aluminum intake manifold. Finished in yellow over black vinyl, the car is powered by a 351ci Ford Cleveland V8 mated to a ZF five-speed manual transaxle. Further equipment includes pop-up headlights, quad exhaust outlets, and 17″ GT5-style aluminum wheels along with a Lecarra steering wheel paired with a gated shifter. This pre-L Pantera is now offered with a Deluxe Marti report, manufacturer’s literature, recent service records, the removed 15″ Campagnolo cast magnesium wheels, spare parts, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.
