Modifications: This 1972 DeTomaso Pantera is a pre-L example finished in red over black and is powered by a 351ci V8 mated to a five-speed manual transaxle. Sold new in California, the car stayed with its original owner until 1989, when it was sold with 24k miles to a second owner in Arizona. The second owner removed the original 351ci engine, installed a new full-roller 351ci V8, and had the car repainted. The selling dealer reportedly acquired the car from the second owner in December 2018 and has added about 50 miles of the car’s indicated 28k. This Pantera is now offered with the removed original engine and other spare parts, documentation dating back to the first owner, the original California blue license plate, an owner’s manual, the window sticker, and a clean Arizona title.
