- This 1972 DeTomaso Pantera underwent a refurbishment in the late 1990s including a repaint in metallic maroon and refreshment of its beige interior. The car was acquired 15 years ago by the seller, who subsequently commissioned the building of a stroked 427ci V8 and the installation of a Holley carburetor, exhaust headers, an upgraded radiator with cooling fans, and more. Accompanying work included a rebuild of the 5-speed manual transaxle, updates to the brakes and suspension, and installation of 18″ wheels. The engine was overhauled and a new dual-disc clutch was installed in fall 2018 along with other work. This Pantera is sold with refurbishment photos, service records, a removed 351ci V8, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.
