- This 1972 DeTomaso Pantera was purchased new at Bob Estes Lincoln Mercury of Inglewood, California, on November 17, 1972, and remained in long-term storage with the initial owner in California until July 2020, and it now shows 10k miles. The car was acquired by the selling dealer in April 2021 and subsequent work consisted of rebuilding the engine, starter motor, and distributor, refinishing the wheels, fabricating replacement coolant pipes, and installing a clutch, water pump, fuel pump, tires, ignition and brake system components. The car is powered by a 351ci Ford Cleveland V8 paired with a five-speed ZF manual transaxle and is finished in blue over black vinyl upholstery.
