Modifications: Restored mostly original. This specimen was in the hands of the original owner for over 40 years in Arizona. The car was originally built and delivered in the most popular Pantera yellow and somewhere during its life was painted blue by the first owner. These cars are prone to rust but fortunately 3480 lived in moisture free Arizona and was able to remain pristine. The Marti Report shows that it was built in April of 1972, painted yellow and delivered to a LM dealer in Long Beach CA. Many yellow Panteras were originally less desirable colors and the current status does not match the Marti Report. When one is seeking an investment vehicle originality matters quite a bit especially when it comes to color. The car is currently in its proper color. The car has been extensively restored cosmetically and mechanically. Interior has been restored with new seat covers and doors panels, carpeting as well as new rubber moldings throughout the car. All gauges are functional. Car has also been gone through mechanically by my race shop with updated cooling system including but not limited to lines, hoses, thermostat and radiator. Engine is the 351 Cleveland with Edelbrock Performer aluminum intake and brand new 650 CFM carburetor. Engine has a fresh tune with new spark plugs. Tires are the correct Michelins XWX as on the car in 1972. Installed are the Euro rear tail lights which I find more attractive but a pair of US spec tail lights are included in the sale. All fluids are fresh including oil, coolant, brakes and gearbox. The car has a clean title in the name of my Montana LLC. This car is guaranteed to draw a crowd at your local car show.
