Modifications: This 1972 DeTomaso Pantera was purchased new in Missouri and was then under a long period of ownership in California. During that time, the owner spent over $30k on a thorough refurbishment that was completed in 2002. This pre-L example was repainted and fitted with an MSD electronic ignition system, Holley 700 CFM carb, alloy valve covers, Ansa exhaust system, and more. The car then moved to Florida and then to a collector in Texas before the seller purchased it in 2013. Records show that more than $15k has been invested into maintenance since the refresh was completed, including an upgraded A/C system. A large collection of service receipts dating back to the 1990s come with the car, along with the original bill of sale, owner’s manuals, factory parts manual, and photos of the refurbishment. The car is being offered on a current Georgia registration with a clear re-assigned Texas title in the seller’s name.
