- This 1972 DeTomaso Pantera was originally purchased by Playboy Enterprises in July 1972 for presentation to Playboy magazine’s 1972 Playmate of the Year, and spent time in California and Florida before it was recently acquired by the selling dealer. The car was refurbished and modified during prior ownership, which included an exterior color change, an engine rebuild, an interior refresh, and installation of wheel-arch flares and staggered-diameter wheels. The 397ci V8 is paired with a five-speed manual transaxle, and additional features include a gated shifter, power-operated windows, a MOMO steering wheel, a disconnected nitrous-oxide injection system, and bucket seats with black leather upholstery. This Pantera is now offered with 1972 warranty documentation, service records, dynamometer test results, a June 1972 issue of Playboy magazine featuring the car, and a clean Pennsylvania title.
