- This 1971 DeTomaso Pantera was reportedly purchased by the seller’s father-in-law in the 1980s and was subsequently modified with the installation of a GT5-style body kit and Campagnolo wheels. Its 351ci Ford Cleveland V8 is equipped with four Weber carburetors, and additional modifications include updated suspension components, a four-wheel disc-brake conversion, a fire-suppression system, and more. The car was inherited by the seller’s wife in 2017, and a subsequent cosmetic and mechanical refurbishment completed in June 2019 is said to have included refinishing the exterior, rebuilding the carburetors, replacing the clutch, and updating the cooling, braking, and suspension systems. This Pantera is now offered with manufacturer’s literature, refurbishment records, a car cover, and a clean Minnesota title in the name of the seller’s spouse.
