Identity

Modifications: This 1971 DeTomaso Pantera is finished in red over a black interior and is equipped with a 351ci Cleveland V8 mated to a ZF five-speed manual transaxle. It was purchased by the late owner in 1975 and was sold to a friend in 1988. Pantera Performance of Aurora, Colorado was commissioned to perform a restoration in 1991 at a reported cost of $44k, and the late owner reacquired the car in June 2019. A mechanical refresh was then begun, though the owner passed before it was completed. Features include an Edelbrock intake manifold and a 700 cfm Holley four-barrel carburetor, as well as 15″ Campagnolo wheels, split black bumpers, a lowered driver’s floor, and a period Alpine cassette deck. This non-running Pantera project is now offered on behalf of the late owner’s estate with a clean Kentucky title.
