- This 1971 DeTomaso Pantera was finished from the factory in Medium Green before being resprayed in yellow and sold new in February 1973 at Hempstead Lincoln Mercury in Long Island, New York. The car was reportedly stored by the original owner from 1975 until it was purchased by the seller in 2021. A restoration was subsequently completed in 2021 by JAWS Auto Restorations of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, which included stripping and respraying the body in Medium Green, refreshing the interior in black leather, rebuilding the 351ci Ford Cleveland V8 and five-speed ZF manual transaxle, and refurbishing the suspension, braking, and air conditioning components. Features include a Holley carburetor, an aluminum radiator, 15″ Campagnolo cast magnesium wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, an electric parking brake, a gated shifter, and power windows. This Pantera was featured at the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix (PVGP) Italian Cortile display area in 2023 and 2024. This Pantera is now offered with a Deluxe Marti report, a window sticker, original purchase documents, a spare tire, a tool kit, a spare set of wheels, and a clean Pennsylvania title in the seller’s name.
