Mangusta intl registry: 1969 DeTomaso Mangusta. Mileage: 31,000. Color: Orange. I am the third owner, having purchased it in 1977 from a collector who got rid of all of his non-Ferrari cars in order to raise capital to buy a Ferrari GTO. As I recall, he paid 70k for the car and I thought he was nuts. After purchasing the car in 1977, I performed the following modifications: Engine to Sports Car Graphic stage 3 specifications, minus the headers. Recent Jet Hot treatment to original headers. The valve covers are finned Cobra covers with the logo milled out and DeTomaso castings inserted. This was done when the Windsor heads were added. Cooling system upgrade with larger fan motors.
